N96 is close to perfection

October 17th, 2008

Over on devicepedia, Alex Ion muses on days gone past when a mobile device’s functionality literally limited you to making and receiving calls only.

A long way from the multimedia devices available today, such as the N96 that Alex has had a look at. Boasting a 5MP camera with the Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, built in GPS and WiFi he thinks this dual slider is ‘almost perfect’. He’s impressed with the high end finish, clear 2.8” screen and fast response. A couple of points could have been improved on, including battery life, but that doesn’t stop him giving it an immense 10/10 for features.

Do you feel the N96 is close to perfection? Have Nokia really given you everything you’d need? Let Alex know your thoughts.
