N96

Will the N96 survive near destruction?

October 29th, 2008 at 9:13 am

The Symbian Blog’s Vaibhav Sharma has been testing the durability of his brand new N96, ‘unintentionally, of course’.

By dropping the device from a 2nd storey window, Vaibhav carried out a test not usually found in most quality control manuals, and he is delighted to report that the N96 survived (almost) intact. Fortunately he had applied a screen protector, so the scratches that were inevitably suffered were only cosmetic, and he was able to restore the device to its former glory. He reckons the N96 has ‘awesome sturdiness’.

Have you tested your device in a similar way? What was the outcome? Head over and share your experiences.
