E63 launched, first review soon up

Rob Evans appears to be the first out of the blocks with a review following the launch of the E63 this morning.

He has compared the hardware to the E71, and brings us an image-packed post on his blog that is full of the answers to the burning questions that have been filling the space in the last couple of days since this launch was sniffed out. He thinks that having a shorter space bar on the new device is a ‘good thing’ as it allows for more character keys on the keyboard. Also the keys are larger on the E63, again he says this ‘has to be good’.

Furthermore he says that the casing is plastic front and back, but it has a metallic effect, and there a few placement differences to the E71 (the microphone and the wrist strap for starters). Lots more physical differences are noted, including the slightly thicker form factor and the ‘simple to use’ locking catch at the back.
