N96

Parting shots at the N96

January 28th, 2009 at 5:15 pm

Andrew Currie has finished with the N96, but not before he took time to jot down a few of his gripes.

These include the numeric keypad of the device. A self-confessed QWERTY lover, the T9 was never going to ‘win [him] over’, but he bemoans the flat keys and short travel between inputs. He compares it to the ‘contoured’ keys of the N95 - which he contends is still the best Nseries keyboard (at least until the N97 is released).

I don’t agree when he says the N95 has the best keyboard of all NSeries. I own a N78 which has the most weird keyboard in the world and even so I find more friendly user than the N95 one; N95’s keys are too small.
