Gersbo has taken delivery of an E61i, and at the same time, Sehaj of The S60 Blog filmed the unboxing of his E90. Therefore we bring you not one, but two videos of devices being unpacked and explored.

DivX vs CorePlayer in battle of the video players

A number of people regularly use their mobile device as a portable video player, either for short clips or even whole movies. How best to play those videos however, is a point of eternal debate.

Menneisyys over on Symbian Freak has taken the opportunity of the update to DivX’s mobile player to pit it against the much loved CorePlayer and see if it has made up any ground on its competitor. The short answer - it hasn’t, but jump over for the full rundown and details on what both apps are capable of.

Eseries YouTube roundup

This video from eMag in Romania shows the E61i in all its glory. Taking a good look around the device, at every physical angle possible and also through many of the menus and set ups, this seems to be an exhaustive review. Now if only someone could translate it for us…

In further gaming news, Vanillabananasplit has posted this video on YouTube showing the very best of the E90. The graphics look razor sharp, and the gameplay seems comparable to a console. The sound is pretty loud too, testament to the power of the E90.

Of course, sometimes we also take video with our devices but the quality, especially in the sound department, isn’t always up to scratch compared to stand-alone alternatives. Or is it?
