Phat^Trance has been on the trawl to bring us some high quality images again, and this time he’s netted some decent E71 snaps to post on his Daily Mobile blog.
Grabbing shamelessly from the Planet Nokia forum, he once again lets the pictures do the talking, adding the opinion that the device looks ‘sweet’ and he can’t wait to get his hands on one.

E71 literally in the wild

It seems that it’s ‘Photo Friday’ out there in the space, and JKE isn’t going to be left out, posting some outdoorsy shots of the E71 on the Kikuyumoka blog.
Alongside an interesting photo of the ‘water damage indicator’ (a white sticker that turns red if the device gets too wet – bottom picture), there are a number of images of the E71 in arty poses.

E71: the story so far

The E71 has been in the hands of Ben Smith of SMS Text News who has realised that the device isn’t as perfect as he’d suspected it might be.
That said, it certainly isn’t a bad handset in Ben’s opinion, indeed its very good - it just isn’t as great as it could be, and that’s always frustrating. He is a fan of the form factor, size and style of the E71 as well as the battery life and GPS, but let downs creep in on the email front which is annoying for such a messaging-centric device.

Dotsisx over at Symbian Guru has been hard at work bringing a veritable smorgasbord of reviews for all you Nokia fans out there.
The N78, E66 and E71 all get the once over with pictures, thoughts and general comments from Dotsisx from hands on time with the devices. S60 3rd edition FP2 is the ace up N78’s sleeve while the E66 comes out as ’sexy and solid’ and the E71 blows Dotsisx with its sheer size - or rather lack of it!

E71 - does what it says on the tin

Engadget Mobile writer Paul Miller has published their review of the E71 - and it’s a positive impression for the QWERTY sporting new kid.
There is a decent gallery of images of the device, plus the usual run down of the specs and features, but what is the conclusion? Well, Paul reckons it’s a great device for what it is, with a good range of features squeezed into a very nice form factor.

E71 in-depth review and key points

The guys at All About Symbian are regularly first on the big announcements when it comes to reviews and details. This time they really out did themselves, getting a review up of the new E71, almost literally as soon as the device was officially announced.
Steve Litchfield goes through every aspect of the device, with detailed comparisons and images. If you want to know everything there is to know about the new E71, this is the place to start, Ewan Spence cuts down the review into key points for those of you in a rush. E66 and E71 spec and promo videos

Exactly as it says in the title, Abul from Symbian in motion has posted all the tech specs you’ll need for both the E66 and E71 direct from the data sheets for both handsets. There has been some previous information available, but this is the official stuff.
Abul is especially impressed with the E71 specs, and says keep an eye out for more opinion on both devices soon. Put your thoughts and questions in his comments section for future reference.

Thorough look at the E66 and E71

You can always trust the guys over at Symbian-Freak to get their teeth stuck into any new device. Apocalypso has basically gone through the press releases associated with each device, adding in his own two cents for good measure.
As always there’s plenty of discussion taking place in their forums. With participants calling this a solid release from Nokia, whilst others are slightly disappointed by smaller than expected screens and low power battries. Jump to add your comments and ask your questions.
