Nokia Messaging- Armand pushes through
March 24th, 2009
Armand over at Armandbook.com, being the noble guy that he is, has taken it upon himself to try out Nokia’s push email service, Nokia Messaging, on your behalf.
He’s put together a great guide on how to use it, and a list of compatible devices. After trying it with three of his email accounts he concludes that ‘It’s a bit faster than the usual previous email service on your phone’, and if you want automatic email delivery without shelling out for a new gadget, it’s ‘a good alternative’.
To see if your device is compatible, and to let Armand know what you think of Nokia Messaging, jump over and let him know.

wobblinbetty posts about the app, mentioning the functionality of turning text into animation, and adds that the final message can be sent as an MMS or saved as a wallpaper. The fascination appears to be the ability to watch your text become pictures. Why not?
Have you connected beautifully yet? Head over and let wobblinbetty know what you think.

Nokia Maps 3.0 - walking
February 26th, 2009
Christian Spanring has been testing Nokia Maps 3.0 whilst on the hoof, and comparing it to its rivals.
He tested it on a journey to a subway station across a park, and whilst Nokia Maps 3.0 gives him a direct path, others variously invented ‘fantasy’ footpaths and provided a circular route. He reckons the cartography of the service is ‘very well done’ and works well on smaller displays.
Have you gone for a walk with Nokia Maps 3.0? What do you reckon to the service? Head over and share your experiences with Christian.
