N810 is the ‘coolest thing ever’
June 8th, 2009 at 5:18 pm
Difficult to argue with that, but Jon justifies his reaction well.
The tablet ‘excels’ at browsing according to him, displaying pages ‘beautifully’ and he can even update his blog (via a copy/paste method rather than the the dedicated interface which is ‘just slow enough’ that he prefers the alternative). The ‘excellent’ note-taking was used in conjunction [...]

March 10th, 2009 at 5:59 pm
Jeremiah has got his hands on an N810, and has posted his review on his Note To Self pages.
Initial impressions are that he was ‘pleasantly surprised’ by the quality, and reckons that straight out of the box he can do ‘what [he] wants’ whereas with the iPhone there are ’still hoops that [he hasn't] jumped [...]
Dual booting the N810
February 20th, 2009 at 2:31 pm
One for the hardcore mobile device users, Jucato has posted a ‘how to’ on booting the N810 from a flash card.
The post starts with why such a course of action should be necessary, and the Jucato covers the basics (with the disclaimer that this is in no way a full explanation). Freeing up extra space [...]

January 26th, 2009 at 3:02 pm
Erazer007 has produced a review of the N810, and reckons it is comparable to other touch screen devices out there on the market.
Under the device’s positives he lists the ‘brilliant’ speakers, but is disappointed by the camera. The metal used in the build give the device a ’solid’ feel and the keyboard is ‘excellent’ for [...]
N810 gets the once over
January 21st, 2009 at 12:38 pm
idahalang has posted about the N810 on the Walkman Phone Review site, and reckons the transformation from the NIT’s previous iteration is a winner.
The highlights include the fact that the device is ‘perfect for use on the go’ due to it having the integrated GPS receiver and preloaded maps. The ‘highly customizable’ user interface also [...]
N810 love in all its different forms…
December 9th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
The guys over at Internet Tablet Talk forum, prompted by EIPI, are discussing the names that they have given to their tablets, and why. EIPI opts for X-Wing, due to the Star Wars theme he has on the N810. There’s plenty of other creative names, which makes my ‘N810′ sound a little rubbish Jump [...]

Reggie over at Internet Tablet Talk has posted a handy video from Madhava Enros – and it is an excellent walkthrough of the new mobile browser from Firefox.
Madhava is clearly a Fennec rep, but his instructions on how to use the browser are clear and concise, and he demonstrates just how each aspect can be [...]
N810 vs. minilaptops – can the Nokia still perform?
October 16th, 2008 at 10:09 am
RogerS has posted on Internet Tablet Talk about the battle that is raging between the ‘internet tablet’ form factor and the EEE range of tiny portable computers.
He highlights the fact that the EEE range from Asus are ‘computer-first, carry-around second’ devices, but compete well in the same position as the N810. Which is why he [...]
N810 to get mobile Firefox first
October 14th, 2008 at 9:01 am
John Cox reports on PC Advisor that Firefox is planning to release a mobile version of the browser, and the code is only going to be initially available on the N810.
Codenamed Fennec, the alpha code will give users the chance to test the browser on the ‘innovative touch user interface’ and allow a ‘gruelling workout’ [...]
