An alternative N900 review
March 18th, 2010 at 6:29 pm
We asked, Andrew Currie delivered. At the end of the ‘N900 review lifecycle’ post I wondered if anyone had any ideas on a different ways to review a device. Turns out Andrew had just done just that, putting the N900 throught its paces at a wedding.
With some strict targets to hit in terms of [...]

March 18th, 2010 at 5:16 pm
Over at Omio, Jon Rust has been thinking back to devices of years past and remembering them fondly…all sparked by the #sexiestnokia poll.
He’s put in a vote for the N93i, highlighting the camcorder abilities and the swivelling screen. Let’s see if it makes it into the Top 5…

Marvelous N97 Mini
March 18th, 2010 at 6:36 am
little miss fhenny likes the N97 Mini. A lot.
She likes the sound from the speakers, thinks the touchscreen is ’smooth’ and ‘really’ loved the full screen browsing. She also took some pics with the camera (fully praised in one comment already left for her) using the various modes available.
Got anything to add? Let her [...]

March 17th, 2010 at 9:46 pm
Well, the belief that big and beautiful are mutually exclusive has now been comprehensively disproved! Another chunky operator has made it into our list of the sexiest ever Nokias - with the N97 bagging a highly respectable 7th place.

Mr G has listed his main likes and dislikes of the N900 over at Nokia Users, and there aren’t too many of the latter.

The 8th Sexiest Nokia is… The N95 / N95 8GB!
March 17th, 2010 at 7:14 pm
It just goes to show… Big CAN be beautiful. The N95 / N95 8GB has always been heralded as one of Nokia’s most landscape shifting devices – and now it can claim to be one of its sexiest models too!
Vox pop!
@schmmuck: ‘ #sexiestNokia has gotta be the N95 classic. The phone redefined the term “smartphone”. [...]
SXSWi through the eyes of the N97 Mini
March 17th, 2010 at 6:42 pm
Mark Guim was one of the lucky #nokiacomp winners, and during his time in Austin he used the N97 Mini to capture salient moments.
He’s posted some of his favourites on The Nokia Blog, and writes that it was testament to the power of the event and face to face interaction that the device wasn’t in [...]

Hands on with the N97 Mini
March 17th, 2010 at 5:49 am
Nitish misses his ‘dates with the N900′, so has got his hands on a new device, the N97 Mini.
He’s a fan of the build quality and slim design of the device, and reckons this could attract a lot of people to the Mini, especially heavy business users. Even though he’s a little scared of [...]

A typical N900 review
March 17th, 2010 at 12:08 am
To cover all the N900 posts and write ups that I’ve seen today would be implausible, so a round up from different stages in a typical N900 review seemed like a more reader-friendly way to go about things.
Siraj at LoveMyNokia (from whence the image above is taken) kicks things off with an unboxing and [...]
